Pinwheel Flower

Pinwheel Flowers!!! I love these.

I'm sure there is a easier way of doing this, but here goes...

I used @silhouetteamerica Fancy Borders.

I then altered the size of the border.

The top one is the way it comes. I wanted a bit bigger flower. I changed the size to make is larger.

Cute 2

I used the @marthastewart scoring board. You can also fold without board.

You can score at the top peak of the scallop, bottom or all. I choose to do both.

You need to line up the score lines with the peak and or valley of the design.

Fold your pieces back and forth.

Cut one of the pieces off the edge. Glue them together. I got this glue in CA - it's pretty amazing.

Glue the other end together.

Now the FUN part! Use a silky surface to do the next step. I just used the blue sheet that protects you @silhouetteamerica cutting mat.

This part is completely optional. I just used a flew clips to hold the shape together, it likes to pop up.

Place a glob of hot glue on your paper.

Place your pinwheel flower over the glue. Carefully push the sides into the glue. This will hold the center of the flower together. Hold it there for a few second/minutes. Take it off the paper.
I made another one bit larger.

Decorate! I cut a few flowers using my @Silhouettecameo
Below are some ideas I tried.

 Happy Pinwheel Flower making!
